THINKWARE CONNECTED Service is an intelligent communication-based service designed to enhance vehicle and driver safety by integrating with dash cams. It utilizes various communication methods to establish a real-time connection between the dash cam installed in the vehicle and a mobile app. This service enables immediate access to key events that occur while driving or parked, offering features such as impact notifications, driving history, and remote live video monitoring. By enhancing both driver convenience and vehicle security, THINKWARE CONNECTED Service allows users to easily monitor their vehicle's status—whether they are on the road or away from the car.

Disclaimer: 1. Connecting the dash cam to a mobile hotspot device or a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will consume data. Carrier/Service Provider charges may apply. 2. The smartphone used to set up the Internet connection on the dash cam cannot also be used as a mobile hotspot for the dash cam. A different hotspot device/smartphone is required. 3. To connect the dash cam to the internet, use the THINKWARE Dash Cam Link App. Once the dash cam is connected to the internet, you can go to the THINKWARE CONNECTED app to get access to Connected features.

THINKWARE CONNECTED Service Overview

Basic Service Period

  • The BASIC PLAN is provided free of charge for the first 3 years (includes a 1-month PREMIUM trial: 1 month + 35 months).
  • 1-Month PREMIUM Trial: When you first register the U3000 PRO, you will receive 1 month of PREMIUM service free of charge. After the trial, the service will automatically switch to BASIC.
  • When the 3-year basic service period ends, no free extension will be provided, and the service will be automatically terminated.

Premium Upgrade

  • You can upgrade to PREMIUM anytime during the 3-year basic service period via in-app purchase.
  • The plan will start from the payment date and will be applied after the dash cam reboots.

Plan Purchase

  • You can purchase a CONNECTED Plan (BASIC / PREMIUM) anytime via in-app payment, regardless of the basic service period.
  • Choose between a 1-month or 1-year plan. Multiple plans can be purchased.
  • Pricing is shown at checkout in the CONNECTED App. (Prices may vary depending on local taxes and exchange rates)

Premium Plan

  • When you purchase a PREMIUM plan, it is applied immediately from the payment date.
  • The remaining BASIC period (the BASIC plan’s first 3-year Service Period) will continue to run while the PREMIUM plan is active. However, any additional BASIC plan you purchase will be preserved.

Auto-Renewal

  • All plans are fixed-term and do not renew automatically.

Device Eligibility

  • Plans are valid only for the registered dash cam and cannot be transferred when changing devices.
  • Since plans are linked to your account, they cannot be transferred even if you give your dash cam to another user.

USIM Handling

  • If no plan is purchased after the basic service ends, the USIM will be automatically deactivated and a new USIM must be purchased to resume service.
  • We recommend purchasing a plan before the basic service period expires if you intend to continue using the service.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Paid plans for this service are available via in-app purchases on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Refunds are handled in accordance with each store’s policies.

The LTE Plan is free for the first 5 years.
Once the initial 5-year period ends, service will not renew automatically and will be discontinued.

Note: Existing T700 customers are guaranteed 5 years of service. Afterwards, you may extend service by purchasing a plan.
